Kingpin is  holding another photo contest. It will be running from March 29th - November 29th. This allows entries to take full advantage of the spring and Autumn/Fall fishing season. The winner will be able to choose any reel in the Kingpin  line-up and take full advantage of the customisation that we offer.

Contest is open to all. Photos will be judged on Content, Creativity, and Composition. Images must have a date stamp, and be taken during contest dates, to be eligible. Contest runs from March 29th - November 29th, 2010. Photos will be judged by Stuart Ward of Kingpin and Mark Matysiak of Vision Photographic. All photos to be emailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . All photos may be used on the website and all other promotional material. All decisions fianl. Looking forward to seeing some great images!

'The Big One' Show

Kingpin attended 'The Big One' show in farnborough. What a show. A big turn out and lots of interest in the reels. Lots of interest in Kingpins future plans! Great to get feedback from all the anglers on what they would like to see  in the new Imperial reel.

BBC Interview with Martin James

Martin James from BBC Radio visited our workshop this month. He carried out an interview, Walking round the workshops and interviewing all the engineers that have been involved in making the reels. You will be able to hear the interview very shortly. I will post a link as soon as it's available. Be sure to listen as it's very intresting.
