Due to popular demand we will be reintroducing the 'kingpin imperial' reel. Based of the very first gen imperial but with the upgraded clicker system that's integrated into the backplate. The clicker will be a side lever system. ABEC5 German Marine Grade Bearings as standard.
Price is officially set @ $450USD which will make this our most affordable reel. You will find this reel at all authorised kingpin dealers throughout the US & Canada.

Whilst all other makers that we are aware about, use the commercial grade '600 series' of Aluminum's ie 6061 or 6082 (and some even professing these 600 series to be Aerospace grade!) we use the 'L series grade' which is true Aerospace grade. Its stronger and purer, which enables us to machine more away whilst not sacrificing strength. The Zeppelin-Aero machined down to the exoskeleton cutting edge design is only possible with true Aerospace Grade Aluminum. Only the best will do.

Here we are another year!
We have 3 reels that we've been working on at the end of 2016 so availability will be sooner rather than later!
Zeppelin Aero 5" - This is not just a large version. It's Zeppelin Version ll that's bigger and better in a number of ways. The reel is vented on another plain making it not only look great but lighter than Zeppelin Version l. Bigger and Lighter. We've also partially vented the backplate and added some interesting engraving. This reel will have a side lever ratchet system as per the Zephyr.
Imperial 4 1/4" - A remake of our classic reel due to popular demand. Only 25 will be available and we will cease production of this reel there after.
Zodiac 5" - This reel will be available after the above two. They say good things take time, I can assure you that is the case in this instance.
All reels will be made to our usual high standards. Quality comes at a cost so please don't expect these reels to be cheap. They will all be available in limited numbers and once they're gone they're gone, we will be moving onto new projects. These are ocean red fish that are caught in my local waters. You can describe them as being across of a bonefish/salmon on they fight. They are strong! Your reel worked like a champ on these fast running fish. The palming rim also assisted by adding extra pressure to slow down the fish. As you alluded to before, I took the reel apart and clean it after use. This reel balance is perfectly with my 10 weight McFarland Rod. I love the fact that you can use a classic reel with modern materials. I'm glad I bought two.''

With the year well underway you'll be pleased to know that so are the reels. We are on track to deliver Ken @ Perfection Angling his unique batch of 25off, 4" Imperials.
The Imperial has become a rather sought after reel in the UK since the first run of Imperial 4 1/4" a couple of years back. They have since gained a reputation not only for the build quality but also for the trademark kingpin spool start-up which we genuinely believe is unrivaled.
We've worked closely with Ken in perfecting what we both believe to be the perfect UK ball bearing centrepin. The reel has some nice additional features such as the vented drum where the line sits. Decreased spool wall thickness and drilled back flange to name a few. These important features naked have made the spool very light and sensitive.
There are strictly only 25 Imperial-400's being released. I believe Ken has most sold so if you want to get your hands on something rather special and limited in numbers then I suggest you contact Ken direct -
